i don't know what it is
maybe it started with the monkey stuffed animal i had as a baby- in his blue jogger suit zoomer was the best.
maybe it's all the tree climbing
or the fact that they sling poo
i'm not the only one
i have a group of friends called the monkeys
we came up with some funny stuff for a gathering we all go to.
Namely the 7 DEADLY MONKEY SINS
we had a monkey priest to confess to and everything
1. Self starvation
2. Abstaining
3. Censorship
4. Hoarding
5. Not picking your neighbors bugs
6. Stealing Bananas
7. WORKIN' TOO MUCH

Mon, October 3, 2005 - 7:54 AMRight on Kim--I hadn't thought of it that way!
I guess I'm guilty of Abstaining. But I think Hanuman devotees are excused from that one.

Re: 7 deadly Monkey sins
Wed, August 30, 2006 - 8:09 PMBoredom is AN ultimate sin because it leads to many of the others.
Being Mean IS THE ultimate sin though, and that's not usually a Monkey Thang.
Unless you piss us off...

Re: 7 deadly Monkey sins
Wed, August 30, 2006 - 8:07 PMHanuman RULES!!!!
My Favorite Ramayana Character!
I got my wifey a Hanuman sticker for her mountain bike when she was a messenger in Chicago. I like to beleive it's why she still has all her fingers and toes.
I'm guilty of working too hard and self starving when I'm worried. I'm pretty good about the rest...
